We picked up a English Tall Case clock in Roswell the other day. The date of the clock is circa 1890. The case of this clock is in great condition, however, the movement is so worn out it won't keep running for more than a few minutes. Once we dismantled the movement, we found several bushings worn and will need to be bushed. We also found one of the gears teeth were worn and we will be making a new gear for the clock. The last problem we encountered was the hand shaft had a hairline crack in it. We will have to make a new hand shaft for this clocks movement.
